Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tradeoff platform, including our website, applications, courses, AI tools, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using Tradeoff, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

01Eligibility#

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Tradeoff.
• By using the platform, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• If you are using Tradeoff on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

02Account Registration#

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Tradeoff is not liable for any loss caused by unauthorized use of your account.

03Use of Services#

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Violation may result in suspension or termination without notice.

04Plans & Payments#

• Some features need a paid plan (for example the 5-Mock Pack, the 30-Day Interview Sprint or the Year pass).
• Each paid plan is a one-time payment for a fixed period or a fixed number of credits, as shown on the Pricing page when you buy. Plans do not renew automatically, and we never charge you again unless you choose to buy.
• When a plan’s period ends, your account returns to the Free plan. Your history and reports stay.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details.
• Refunds follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy: a full refund within 7 days if you have used no more than a free account gets, and always for a failed or double payment.
• Tradeoff may change prices for future purchases with prior notice. A change never affects a plan you have already paid for.

05Intellectual Property#

• All platform content, including problems, courses, AI outputs, UI, branding, and software, is owned by Tradeoff or its licensors.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal or institutional learning purposes only.
• You may not copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without written permission.

06User Content#

• You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., code, responses).
• By submitting content, you grant Tradeoff a license to use it to operate, improve, and analyze the platform.
• You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

07AI Features Disclaimer#

08Termination#

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the platform
• Required payments are not made

You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain provisions will survive termination.

09Limitation of Liability#

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Tradeoff is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the previous 12 months.

10Indemnification#

You agree to indemnify and hold Tradeoff harmless from claims arising out of:

• Your misuse of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your submitted content

11Changes to Terms#

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12Governing Law#

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
