Technical Passport

Show your work, not a certificate

Pick the practice reports you want. Send one link to a recruiter or a friend. They see what happened and the proof behind it.

A Passport is made from your own reports, so do a Drill or a Mock first.

What is this page?

  • Tradeoff is a practice platform for software interviews. A report here comes from a practice session, not from a real hiring process.
  • System design and Simulator reports are written by an AI interviewer against a mid-level bar (2 to 5 years). A score is a practice score with a band, not a measurement. A session with too little in it says “Not enough evidence yet” and gets no verdict.
  • Coding reports also show the result of a real code runner on tests the learner could not see (“the interviewer’s tests”). That part is not an AI opinion.
  • Quotes are the learner’s own words; the server checks each one appears word for word in what they wrote. The learner chose which reports and words appear here, and can turn this page off at any time.
  • This page is not a hiring decision, a certificate or an assessment by Tradeoff of any person.

How it works

Practise. Pick. Send.

Three steps. You are in control of the last two.

  1. 01

    Practise

Do a Drill, a Mock or a simulator interview. Each one ends with a report that has the evidence in it.

    Example

  2. 02

    Pick the reports

Choose the reports you are proud of. Check the preview before you turn the page on.

    Example

  3. 03

    Send one link

Copy the link and send it to a recruiter or a friend. They read it in a browser, with no account.

Your privacy

It shows the proof. Not your code.

These rules are in the code, not only in this text. Each one has a test.

You decide

  • It is off until you turn it on.
  • You pick each report. A new report is never added on its own.
  • Your own words show only if you allow it, and only words you really wrote. The server checks each one.
  • Switch it off and the link stops working at once. Or make a new link.

Never on the page

  • Your email or your phone number
  • Your code or your chat
  • The hidden tests, or their answers
  • Anything a search engine can list

What it is not

An honest page. Not a badge.

We will not tell you a Passport gets you a job. It gives you something real to show and talk about.

  • Not a certificate

Nobody awards it. It is a record of what happened when you practised.

  • Not a CV

It lists no jobs and no degrees. It lists practice reports and the evidence behind them.

  • Not a hiring decision

Every Passport says at the top that these are practice results, not a hiring decision.

Questions

Before you share

Who can see my Passport?

Anyone who has your link, and nobody else. There is no password, so send it only to people you want to read it. Search engines are told not to list it. You can switch it off, or make a new link, at any time.

Will my code or my chat be shown?

No. The page shows verdicts, scores, incidents, load runs and, only if you allow it, one or two short quotes of your own words. Your code, your chat and the hidden tests never appear.

What if one report went badly?

Leave it out. Only the reports you pick are shown.

What does “Not enough evidence yet” mean?

If a session was too short to judge, the report says so and shows no verdict and no score. You can still add it, and it is shown honestly. It never gets a made-up number.

Will a recruiter trust it?

We do not know, and we will not say they do. The reports are written by an AI interviewer against a mid-level bar, so read them as practice feedback. Coding reports also show the result of a real code runner on tests you could not see, and that part is not an AI opinion. A recruiter can read the evidence and ask you about it.

How do I make one?

Finish a Drill or a Mock. On the report, press Add to my Passport. Then open Passport in the app, add a name, pick your reports, check the preview and turn it on.

Can I delete it?

Yes. Delete your Passport and the page is gone. If you delete your account, the Passport goes with it.

Practise first. Share when you are proud.

Your first Drill takes seven minutes. It ends with a report you can keep or share.
